AUTO INSURANCE
Auto insurance helps protect you in the event of an accident or other loss. It covers injuries and damages caused by an accident and for which you are legally responsible. It may also cover the cost of repairing or replacing your vehicle if it is damaged or stolen.
In California, you are required to carry a minimum amount of liability insurance and provide proof of insurance before you can register your vehicle or renew your driver's license. Remember that the state required minimum coverage is rarely enough to pay for all the damages that result from an accident. In case, the legally responsible driver will have to pay the additional expenses out of pocket.
